Earth's mightiest man battles moon monsters! Hercules Against The Moon Men.
In ancient Greece a race of evil aliens from the moon land on earth. For years they've terrorized the nearby city of Samar, demanding children for sacrifice. Now, the queen of Samar has made a pact with the moon men to conquer the world and become the most powerful woman alive. However, the residents of Samar, sick of all the chaos, cheer when the mighty Hercules shows up to put a stop to it all.
Sand Storm... I really don't get what's supposed to be so painful about that scene. After things like Fu-Manchu, this is nothing. In fact, I really think that the rock climbing was worse than the sand storm. But whatever... It's still a long pointless scene almost completely obscured by sand.
Anyways, I know quite a few people who just think that this is the greatest episode ever, especially of the Hercules set. Me, I really am not all too impressed with it. I'm not even that much of a fan of the Pants Song. It's good, but really not my favourite. But don't let that detract from the fact that it's definitely a good episode. There isn't all too much to complain about... and most of my complaints are really only about the fact that people hold the episode in such high esteem.
On a small note, I definitely like Reeves as Hercules over Steele. That's all.
I definitely don't think I'd use this as a starting-off point for any newcomers, but I'd at least insist on it being seen at some point.
Favourite line: "Tri-Sta-- Oh, I'll try it again. Tri-Star Pictures..."
