He is... The Projected Man.
A scientist experimenting with matter transmission from place to place by means of a laser beam suddenly decides to use himself as a test specimen. But the process goes awry, and one side of his body becomes hideously deformed and instantly lethal to anyone it touches.
The Satellite News review wasn't too fond of this episode. I seriously have NO idea why! I normally don't watch this episode, just because... well, I really don't know. I found it to be insanely funny and full of very fast-paced jokes. From the start of the movie with all of the "elementary school" jokes, all through making fun of how everyone talks... I enjoyed every bit of this episode.
Even the host segments were good. Not the best, I'll admit... There were a couple draggers, but they were still fun and entertaining, especially if you think of it as a "premise setter-upper" with the Castle Forrester bits. The best of course was when Crow killed Mike, causing the bots to resort to dragging him into the theater and trying to prop him up in his seat. Mike did a fantastic job at being lifeless, by the way.
I really would like an official DVD release of this one, which I think is why I haven't seen it so many times. I tend to throw in the store-bought ones most often, especially when showing newbies an episode. Anyways, I really enjoyed this episode.
Favourite line: "You said I'd be gassed."
