Like nothing you've ever seen before! Gorgo.
A salvage vessle is nearly sunk off the Irish coast by an undersea earthquake. A few nights later, a walking sea monster tangles with the fishing boats and enters the town. The salvage vessel captures Gorgo and takes it to London for display. Gorgo's mother, who is upset and significantly larger follows his trail to London leaving a wake of destruction in her path.
So, apparently this episode only aired twice (on the same day) and that was it. Lots of rights issues might make this the most rare episode there is... or was... whatever. I didn't really like it anyways.
It's kind of a fun episode, during the riffing. The host segments are alright, and Leonard Maltin is really the best part of the whole thing. But, in all, I really didn't find myself all that into it. The movie is a bland European version of a Godzilla movie, and there's nothing we haven't really seen... except Dorkin of course. Not many movies have a Dorkin, and definitely not a Dorkin like this!!
But aside from Dorkin (as wonderful as Dorkin is) I really don't find myself all that upset that this episode isn't all too available. Not saying it's bad at all, really... just didn't really strike me as much either way. I actually had a hard time finding "favourite lines" on this one. Maybe I just wasn't in the right mood to watch this one particular episode. For now, I give this one a "Meh."
Favourite line: "I need drugs!"
