Trapped in the Twilight Between Life and Death. Soultaker.
Mysterious unseen men in black collect the souls of the recently dead. When four teenagers "die" in a car wreck, one of these beings is sent to retrieve their souls. However, the teens are disembodied and realize their predicament. They flee. The movie revolves around them being picked off one by one, The Man's infatuation with one of the teenagers (who was apparently his lover in a past life), and the efforts of the teens to reunite their souls with their hospitalized bodies.
Cameo by Joel, cameo by TV Frank... How could this episode get any better?? Well, I think great host segments, a fun storyline, and a really dumb movie with fantastic riffing just about does the trick!!
This one's definitely a classic episode, an essential, a fan favourite, etc etc. It also has MY favourite line of the whole series, spoken by Gypsy. "Jump up my tube, white boy!" just has to be about the funniest thing I have ever heard... and I've heard some funny things!!
Without going too horribly into detail (as there's already enough info and facts about this episode online), I will just state that this is probably my sister's favourite episode of all time. She just loves the bit where Crow gets something stuck in his eye and has to leave the theater just as the undressing begins.
Yep, this is definitely a great episode, and one I will never tire of... which... I will never tire... of....... which.... *cough*
Favourite line: "Where does that guy even keep his acorns?"
